He might describe himself as a businessman, after all.

But, still, it's unusual for an ex-president. And maybe undignified. Seems like most ex-presidents make their money through books or speeches.

And ones that are truly wealthy don't at all. I don't think Bush did, did he?

Selling Trump: A Profitable Post-Presidency Like No Other
Much as he did while in the White House, Donald Trump has thoroughly blurred the lines between his political ambitions and his business interests, with a wide-ranging set of moneymaking ventures.

Other past presidents have cashed in financially after leaving the White House. Barack and Michelle Obama reportedly sold a joint book deal for $65 million. Bill and Hillary Clinton’s speechmaking after leaving the White House was estimated to have netted them $153 million by the spring of 2015, when Mrs. Clinton announced her own run for president. George W. Bush has been a mainstay on the speaking circuit, too.
But no former president has been more determined to meld his business interests — from chocolate bars to real estate to a tech start-up — with a continuing political operation and capitalize on that for personal gain.

I didn't realize a former President was supposed have any restrictions of his actions in his private life. Why is this even a story? There's nothing stopping President Obama from starting his own tech platform, if he wanted to.

Great for because Trump. He’s an excellent businessman, and obviously better than his POTUS predecessors.

So many problems out there and the left still obsesses about Donald Trump.

They should be more concerned with the destruction of the country and the world that is being unleashed by demented Joe Biden.
