Bolton and all others who worked with Trump were loyal to him during their time. Once gone, there was nothing stopping them from telling the truth to what actually went on. But why do some think Trump could have stopped Putin's invasion if he was still the president. What would he have done.

What do you know about Bolton and loyalty? he went crying to the press after he got fired (legit because his foreign policy is way different than Trump) and wrote a book. I wouldn't call that "loyalty"

Maybe nothing or paused it with more lethal weapons to Ukraine and call out China for their role in this.

China expanded their energy pact for 30 years and 3 weeks later Putin attacks. China doesn't respect Biden because he won't make China pay or take them on with the uneven trade. Trump was willing to fight with China.

Trump would have sanction Russia oil to make them negotiate peace. Biden won't.

Trump could have done nothing to change what's going on. Most of the world have put sanctions on Russia with this invasion. We have destroyed their economy. Putin just doesn't care.

Nah. Trump may have threatened sanctions, though I doubt he would, but he would have never actually done it.

Don't you remember the time he leaned over and told Putin to ignore his tough talk that was going to come?
Trump wants to appear tough, but he isn't. He's just a wannabe who adores the real article.

John Bolton wanted war with Iran, and probably Russia too. Many liberals called him a warmonger, and they weren't wrong. How he ended up being on their side, in the minds of liberals, is truly bewildering.

The bolded goes hand in hand with Trump never should have hired him, as Bolton’s foreign policy views weren’t a secret.

I use to like Bolton before his true colors of being a Warhawk were shown. Trump has his issues, but he was good at giving back the appropriate response without going to war.

Bolton wanted a war and when Trump fired him for not being on the same page towards peace and deescalation, Bolton became a bitter “has been” old man… Just like an ex wife or husband.

So whatever Bolton has to say today isn’t relevant.
