I doubt the current version of the GOP lets Romney get out of the primaries. He's too far to the center and away from the fringes for them now. The GOP had a chance to go normal with John Kasich in 2016 and chose the guy who had been on TV instead.

Nah, you blaming because Trump for most anything possible, especially when he hasn’t been in office for over a year, is certainly on you. Putin attacking under Sleepy Joe because he knows how weak he is, especially after doing it before, is as “simplistic” as it gets. Unfortunate that Sleepy Joe couldn’t keep the peace like because Trump did.

Sleepy Joe won’t make it to 2024 so you certainly won’t be given the choice to, and even if he did, they’d never wheelchair him back out there with what he’s caused this last year. Dems have dug their own grave for midterms and the WH with the clown show he’s put on.

I agree Biden is weak and pathetic but Trump supporters are reading too much into the timing of this attack by Putin. It probably would have happened in Trump's second term. I see nothing to indicate Putin would have been afraid to attack Ukraine if Trump was still POTUS. Trump was in awe of Putin. Trump to Putin was simply a useful speed bump. Biden to Putin I am sure is just a joke.

And Bolton. The architect of the WMD scam in Iraq. I don't really trust the guy but some odd reason Trump hired him. Apparently because he liked him on Fox News. That being said Bolton is saying what everyone else who worked for Trump has said. Trump had a limited understanding of history and geography. And fought tooth and nail to limit Russian sanctions. No doubt all of that is true.

Spoiler alert. Just because I don't like one guy does not mean I do like the other. Trump was a disgrace as president regardless of how badly I may think Biden is doing. Both are possible when you judge them on their merits and not because o what party they belong to. Your mileage may vary.

Because Trump or DeSantis would be wonderful, even better on the same ticket…but it won’t matter what Republican runs. Dems have hindered themselves to greatly to come back so many debacles and plummeting approval ratings.

Nah, because Trump was wonderful. He simply made the mistake of hurting sensitive folks feelings and posting mean tweets…although with what we’ve seen the past year it’s a blessing in disguise. So many folks have seen the error of their ways in voting for a demented old man that has no idea what he’s doing.

Lol. Except you’re blaming because Trump yet Sleepy Joe is in charge.

The answer here is fairly simple. Trump was constantly criticizing NATO and jacking with it. Calling it obsolete and such. Ukraine wasn't getting into NATO while Trump was in office. Under Biden it would be a real possibility.

Possibilities don’t mean anything. Bottom line is this is the second time he’s attacked under Sleepy Joe, and Sleepy Joe couldn’t keep the peace. Putin preyed on the weak.

Of course he attacked when his ally was not president. He also did not attack when Yanukovych was president of Ukraine for the same reason - you don’t need to attack when you are getting everything you want.

Trump gave Putin everything he wanted, so there was no reason to attack. Obama and Biden are not beholden to Putin and so that is why he attacked when they were and are president.

Shall I copy the list again with all the examples of how Trump is compromised by Moscow? Maybe I will:

That is how I see it. Unless we demand better people running for office we will be stuck with one loser after another. I liked most of Trump's policies just he made everything so much more difficult. You throw people under the bus, often from your own party and then expect them to help you pass important legislation, that does not work. So many things from Trump's term went unfinished and it did not have to be that way.
