I don't know what you mean by end of history, but I do think this is the end of an era. The one where the USA is the number one most powerful and loved country is ending. Russia is calling the US and NATO's bluffs and China and India are just sitting back to see what happens. Right now, Russia is winning.
What can I say, it looks like McCarthy was right, should have taken out Russia and China when we had the chance over 70 years ago.

I am confused on how Russia is winning? Sure they will win the war in Ukraine but as for whom got the strongest military, Russia seem to be pretty weak considering they are having such difficulty with Ukraine
It makes no difference who the president is. If US got involved in this war, WW3 would already happen and we would not be here discussing it. We either be dead or trying to survive. Either way world as we all knew would have already ended.

Russia is having no less difficulty than the US was when they invaded Iraq. Took the US 3 weeks to capture Baghdad. And, Iraq is not as big as Ukraine (which is the second largest country in Europe) and didn't have interference from allied forces like Ukraine is having with a joint effort of NATO sanctions to Russia.
But Russia don't need western Europe or the USA. They made deals with China and India, both countries have declared they are not going to sanction Russia, and the same goes for other very rich countries, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and most of the America Latino countries like Brazil and Mexico. And the GDP and agriculture is great than most NATO countries, combined.
History sure seem to be repeating itself. Pandemic, WW. That is always possible this is the end as we know it. Only time will tell if that is the case.
EXCEPT, it's not. WW1 occurred BEFORE the Spanish Flu, not afterwrards.
