Well, if you are paying your taxes and obeying their laws...you are technically complicit.

Think about it this way...would we celebrate the historical founding fathers of this country...if they paid every tax England asked and obeyed all their laws?

The only thing I like about this is knowing that my payments are going right to the principal and not the interest. I've taken advantage of the student loan freeze and my balance has gone down drastically. Aside from that, how much longer does he expect to push this off? It's bad enough he had people solely voting for him thinking that he'd eliminate student load debt completely.

Thank you! I've paid off about 3K since the pandemic started. I'm down to 16K for my loans.

Pay it back, when the illegals pay theirs back.

Seems to me repayment of federal student loans has been deferred for nearly 2 years, across 2 administrations.

Wonder how many students are in Florida and Mexico this month thanks to their student loans.

They are now paused through August. We can now be just about guaranteed that these payments will be "paused" at least through November.

This is ridiculous. There is no good reason why student loan payments should be deferred yet again. It made sense at the beginning of the pandemic, but not now. The only unemployment right now is voluntary unemployment. Jobs are going begging.

Long term the solution is to force universities to cut costs and to be much more selective with who qualifies for a loan. You’re 36 and want a degree in Religious Studies and you need to borrow $48,000 to make this a reality? Pay for it yourself as this is a horrible return on investment.

The Government needs to get out of the Student Loan programs. I would love to see this made part of the next administrations agenda.
