I suspect that they will never end on public transportation in Chicago. It's so stupid. You can be in other crowded places without masks. What's the difference??
No one even cares anymore. Get on a plane, half the people (including flight attendants) have the mask below their nose. An appreciable number just on their chin. Let people make their own risk calculus.
For me, I fly over 100,000 miles a year. I spend way way too much time in airports and airplanes. When people say the mask mandate is lifted, I have to shake my head.
I'm in Europe now, and it's glorious. No masks in airports and on airplanes (many carriers, not all). Of course, you still see some people wearing masks, because they think it's best for them, but leave me and others like me alone!!!!
I think most people recognize Trump as the real loon.
