It wasn't an elective at the college I went to. Everyone at that school had to take Core Curriculum courses, and a Speech class was one of the requirements.

I get that club med thing. One DD lived in a campus dorm that was a dump. The other, we bought a house. She had friends who rented rooms. When she graduated we sold it. Made sense. I'd do it again.

The main reason, whatever the tuition is the college loan program will cover it. Before, the colleges had to collect the money so there was incentive to keep the price down.
Now government pays. Tuition 4k, government pays. Tuition 5k government pays.

Default Government loans = Higher Tuition

When the government started handed out federal student loans, tuition costs started going up.

Democrats like AOC say we should do ZERO reforms and just pay off debt.

Did you know millions of college students will put some of these expenses on their student loans:

Cars

Spring break

Casino trips

Illegal drugs

Big screen TVs

Friday nights at the bar

Democrats like AOC say we should pay for this.
Absolutely absurd, isn't it?

I wonder if AOC charged her recent outing to Florida for spring break to her student loan, then wants the government to pay for it.
