Send illegals packing and stop them from coming in. That would free up more than $100 billion dollars every year, which could go far in aiding young, poor, unmarried women and their babies.
Gay marriage and Abortion is a state issue, not a federal one. The original opinion was put together horribly.
The original intent of the abortion law was to make abortion accessible but a rare case which did not happen. Half my generation, GEN-X, was murdered because of abortion on demand. and you cant tell me it was all done for the health of the mother.
Half of your generation? That's hilarious. It wasn't anywhere near that high.
Except in cases of provable self-defense, people are held accountable for killing others. It's either manslaughter or murder. There are even laws against fetal homicide that hold the killer accountable. Abortion is no different. It causes the death of a human life.
No it does not cause the death of a human life. It causes the death of a parasitic group of cells that cannot survive outside the uterus, at least until viability. It's also none of your business whether a woman chooses to end a pregnancy.
If your neighbor wants to rape and steal and own slaves as well as beat their kids, you are fine with that?
They've decided it's what's best for them. Do you agree that their solution to life is good?
Not the same at all. There is a huge difference between a person who was born and the parasitic clump of cells that is a non-viable fetus. If the fetus causes the death of the mother and survives, should the fetus be executed for murder?
Democratic faux outrage. Another manufactured crisis they want to cling to. I care about the gas price at the pump, the rising prices of everything and the unmitigated disaster happening with the hordes of illegal aliens invading our country. That’s what Americans want the government to act on.

Or we could quit padding pork in our bills and supporting lobbyists. That would bring in even more money.

A fetus is not parasitic and it’s only a group of cells very early on.
A fetus is not parasitic and it’s only a group of cells very early on.
By definition it is.
Parasite - an organism that lives in or on an organism of another species (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the other's expense.
Overturning Roe v. Wade doesn't ban abortion. And, in fact, there is no state that will ban abortion once it's overturned. There will only be restrictions on abortion exactly as states have already placed restrictions on 2nd Amendment Rights. See? There is even already a precedent on State Legislatures restricting rights as they see fit.
Not true. Abortion will be banned in Texas. No doctor is going to risk their license trying to justify a "medical emergency" only to be second guessed by some anti-abortion zealot.
Do you think banning abortion will make states like Texas any better than they are now? How so?

A fetus is the same species as it’s mother. Your definition does not fit based on that alone. There is also give and take involved between the mother and fetus. It’s not a one way relationship.
