Men have no value in the discussion? You've obviously never known men who've mourned the loss of their children their partner unilaterally decided to abort without the father's input or consent.
Many men want to be a father and this is a devastating, soul-crushing loss to them.

It's not about not wanting children, it's about not wanting a child in the present situation.
That's clearly not the issue as 95% of unintended pregnancies are due to women VOLUNTARILY participating in unprotected male/female sex. They're CHOOSING pregnancy as an outcome.

IMO, women's health care got much better after women OB/GYNs started appearing in the profession. They understand the female body at the gut level, so to speak.

From oncology in cases of breast cancer, cervial cancer, ovarian cancer? Since they can't have any opinion on women's health?

Midwives are the best in my opinion. They preceded OBGYNs who are actually surgeons. Women have been treated terribly while in labor by the medical industry.
Some states are working to pass laws to stop their citizens from going to another state to get an abortion. What will happen is those states which pass harsh abortion laws will likely lose large business's, and investment that goes along with it. If they want to create a 3rd world state for themselves that's what is going to happen. I also expect some of these states that are turning blue voters could end up voting in democrat leaning state governments. The GOP thinks this was a victory it will be a failure as they lose control of these states.
More than half the abortions in this country are medically induced. Sure states can ban their sale but they cannot stop them from being sold on the black market. For the other half who want a regular abortion there will be assistance out there. No way states can know if a woman is leaving the state for an abortion.
And to me its very hypocritical for a state to try to stop another state from doing what it should be allowed to do. So if Texas bans abortions and has a right to do so, if say Colorado its legal what gives Texas the right to stop a woman from going there for an abortion?
Sure there could be some boycotting of states who pass strict abortion laws. But then others will invest there who agree with the new laws. It will cancel out.
But the best solution for the above is better sex education and wider use of birth control.
