Are teachers really underpaid? Watch this and decide for yourself.

Kids not knowing how many states are in the US. Kids not knowing what a dozen is. Kids not knowing who fought in the civil war, etc... But I bet they know all those weird pronouns and what the letters in LGTBQXYZ mean.

It seems as though young and old get their “education” from social media and regime news outlets.

In fairness, while they do have an unfortunate fixation with their phones, the same thing was said about every prior generation.

I have elderly neighbors that don't know how to shut off a laptop or just keep opening new phone apps so they have 45 games of solititaire going on their phones at the same time so touche.

How many eggs are in a dozen? Really? All those kids are clearly lost in space, but that girl's parents are probably looking for a rock to hide under.

The difference is.....your neighbors are elderly. They did not have cell phones, or laptops when they were in school. They have done their time, in school and the workforce. The younger generation needs to know how to make a living, not learn the difference between boys and girls, and everyone in between.

This aspect of society where everybody is focused on style over substance is one of the biggest turn-offs to me about human nature. I understand biologically why people are like this though there's so many things you just have to accept about our nature and about incarnating on this planet the rules of the Matrix are established play the game using the rules given to you.

We haven't reached the point where we can play God and change the rules of the game were not technologically advanced enough... say we can rewrite the laws of physics or any other of the various rules established within this computer simulation.. that's when things get interesting.

These type of videos are set up for laughs not reality. They could do the same for old people and get the same videos. If you somehow come away from watching this feeling smarter the video worked.

At age 12, I had already knew where Afghanistan was located. Sadly nyc school system is a far cry worse now compared to when I was a kid.

The elderly didn't know how to work computers and cell phones when they were 20 either.

Every generation has stupid people that don't know basic stuff and the current generation is just the same.

Also throw in the fact that they can get information in 3 seconds electronically where as not knowing how many ounces in a pint when I was growing up would mean a trek to the library or asking someone else etc.

It's just *different* now.

Media and comedy shows have been conducting similar “ on the street” interviews for decades. While most seem to focus on young people, occasionally the focus is on middle- aged and seniors.

What is never disclosed is how many were interviewed who were able to answer simple questions and were edited out.
