A whole species of acts were banned by law and banned from being shown in the movies. Then SCOTUS got involved in Loving and said that folks had a constitutional right to marry whom they wish as part of their civil rights.

Compare that to homosexual unions.

The definition of 'deviant sex' is a changing one, grounded in a particular person's faith. At one point a man marrying his brother's widow was considered deviant.

Since we are dealing with distinctions based on religion, don't ask the courts or society to support only one particular view, as this would be the establishment of a state religion, contrary to the 1st amendment.
