That was a travesty and general commentary on the fact that Trump’s people only had an agenda without the skills, knowledge, or desire to behave ethically and professionally

Suggestion:
Never put the party that hates “Big Government” in charge of running big government
It is just asking for SNAFU
Obama/Biden* built the cages, and used them too.
Obama/Biden* gave thousands of kids to human traffickers. Where are they now? Had any survived the traffickers?
Rapes and abuses of illegals happened under Obama/Biden* and are still happening under Biden*.
Biden* told them to come and he told them to send their kids alone. Young children, even babies, had been tossed over the walls, abandoned in the wilds, near death or died after being abandoned...all because Biden* told them to send them and to send them in alone.
Trump eventually managed to have illegals wait in Mexico...less expensive for us.
Biden* is flooding our country, which is vastly more expensive for us and will continue to be vastly expensive as long as they are here. Obama/Biden*...those two are your examples of failed leadership!

I think we all know which posters on this forum are consumed with Trump. Look in the mirror.

I actually did vote for a corpse once rather than John Asscroft. The corpse won.

Let me remind you -

"Deep State" directly translates to "Rule of law." That is what continues to terrify MAGA to this day.

Had the impeachment trials been coup attempts, they would have been intended to install someone other than the Vice President as President. Trump attempted to overthrow the government and steal the presidency as his personal property to do with as he pleased. He never met a dictator he didn't like, as we've already covered.

In your dreams. Trump is toothless these days. He may still cause some minor trouble, but his time for power is long passed.

That there was the attempt to unseat a duly elected president and that the attempt was excused should be concerning for everyone.

Who is to say that if they'd been successful in unseating Trump that they would have stopped there?

You really should have been watching.
Your committee is saying Trump did nothing for three hours? ..that is a perfect example of your committee lying to you. He did tweet out a number of times during the afternoon, telling them to be peaceful and to respect the cops and then told them, twice, to go home.

You think that he could have told them to go home earlier and that they would have listened? It didn't seem they were listening when he'd told them to be peaceful and to respect the cops, so why would you believe they would have left earlier if he'd told them to?

He didn't tell them to riot. What the rioters did was on the rioters and the rioters alone.

We covered that here. As soon as the tweeted "go home", they started leaving.

Timing is going to play a major role in the trial. The jury will expect an explanation as to why he didn't act as soon as he knew there was a violent attack in progress, which he was told in almost real time.
