It doesn't seem to me that most people seem to particularly care about very high gas prices in this country. People have to pay whatever price they charge and they seem to accept it. You would think people would be protesting $5 national average but everyone is quiet. I don't even think this is going to hurt Democrats in November
Gas is cheap in America compared to the rest of the world. US oil companies have record profits at the expense of the American consumer, but that's okay because we love capitalism.
I find it hilarious that there are a few Biden’s nuthuggers right here posting on citydata making excuses for high gas price caused by their Lord Biden while Biden’s job approval rating is taking a nose dive at the polls.
We live really close to everything, our car is very energy efficient.
We fill up the tank about once a month...it use to cost us about $15 now it costs about
$23...the eight dollars extra a month will not kill us.
I have been around awhile, what goes up always comes down anyway...

What about other bills? For you, it is only 8 dollars more. However, it is a lot more for supermarkets, farmers ...., and you are going to pay for it

haha, give us all a break. Do the oil companies come greedy overnight? US oil companies just enjoy the free ride. Biden Fxxkup the relationship between the US and the Middle East.

Unless you don’t buy food or buy/pay anything else other gas, everything else goes up when gas goes up.
You think that toilet paper roll or toothpaste magically appeared on store shelf without being shipped or transported from somewhere else?
Well, $23 bucks buys 4.5 gallons. What car only holds 4.5 gallons?
We don't wait until it's empty to fill it, but we fill up the tank once a month.
It gets about 30 mpg....we have had it about four years now and still don't quite have 10,000 miles on it though...It has about 9,000 miles on it.

I debated today whether to take 20 minutes to see TopGun-Maverick in regular seats; or do the 30 minute TG in AMC seats? I decided to take the 20 minute route-I walked but it cost me about $20 for food on the way home.
QFC, traderjoes, QFC2, and a Mexican food truck which is now causing me great distress in gas production.
Would have cheaper and less stomach noise if I had simply taken the bus to a better theater.
Next week, its plan on seeing dinosaurs in IMAX. I am going to use dino juice to get (public bus) to the theater.

The people who are affected by gas prices will go to the polls to vote for someone who will definitely line the pockets of the rich even more.
On the other hand, my wife just got a new job with a 36% raise. We are not going to bother to vote. I think we'll be okay either way.
