How much longer will people put up with this nonsense ? This has got to stop. It seems that everyone is putting all of their faith into politicians who couldn't care less about them instead of taking matters into their own hands.
We did by electing Trump and re-electing him in 2020..... except for the election fraud that nobody was able to stop.

The swamp was way too powerful even for Trump to do much about. The government exists to increase its own power, enrich the politicians, and have more and more control over everyone's lives.

Nothing's going to happen. People will complain, sit back, and go back to business as usual. Voting for a corrupt system isn't going to help or change anything.

Sorry, greatly disagree!

If by "the majority, do you mean dems?

Because the repubs certainly do NOT do what you said.

Much of the wall material the REPUBS boibght is still in a pile rusting away!

Sorry to break it to you, but a lot of Dems and Republicans are one in the same. The only difference is their beliefs...and morals. If the majority was doing anything other than sitting around then this thread wouldn't had even been created.

Nah...they have been assimilated into "the Borg" via K-12. They will get right in line and do whatever the government says....especially if there's an "app" for it

The conservatives on SCOTUS just legalized bribery in Ted Cruz vs FEC and the public is going to elect a Republican who will nominate more of that ilk in 2024, so no they are fine with corruption.

can't rep you again, but will offer this chart up as support to prove its not a Red or Blue issue, its the entire DC swamp, & the states too:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Govern...ending_GDP.png

Gov't is eating the private sector alive, & it increases constantly, no matter which party is in office. In 1930, gov't ate 10% of GDP, & in 2022 its eating ~50% of GDP (this 2018 chart doesnt include the last $5T spent).

The only politicans I know for sure will cut spending & government is Rand Paul, & Thomas Massie. Howso? They've already been doing it for years, when NOBODY else in DC is doing so. They are the only 2 out of 535 that repeately vote "NO" to nearly all spending bills.

I see these 2 as our only chance of saving America. Once the gov't is eating 60% of GDP, the private sector will collapse from a lack of capital, & we have civil war, and/or lose our freedom.

If anyone here knows of any other American who will cut spending + Gov't...I'm all ears, but they had better show me a proven track record of doing so.

This is in part due to the corruption of handing out all this money using the pandemic as the excuse.

Using the stock market and real estate as a casino or bank to retire early is not healthy when too many people do it. My posts criticizing MMT and promoting fiscal conservatism tend to not be the most popular. Many on the right would rather the fed kept rates low and kept pumping, even if we had major inflation. This is part of the problem.

Bottom line... the only way to drain the swamp is to cut off the swamp's money supply. No other way will work. Without term limits, balanced budget amendments, and laws to constrain spending, nothing will change.
