Trump started with the stimulus, but I agree, he did contribute to it. I've never been a fan of bailouts since they started in 2008. I knew then that we should have taken our lumps, but no. Now we get to pay the price. I didn't realize Biden could work with the Fed. I thought they were independent and were supposed to be keeping an eye on inflation. They made the mistake of thinking and promoting that inflation was transitory. Chickens have to come home to roost at some point.
I'm glad someone here thinks so... seems like everyone gets addicted to MMT and watching their portfolios and home prices go up and then starts defending the broken system like a heroin addict who wants their next fix. They complain debt is too high but then complain when the stock market crashes after it got pumped up because of said debt that should never have been created. Fiscal conservatism is long dead in this country. The fascinating thing is we now have stagflation... so what will they do, allow inflation or collapse us into a recession what is what would be needed? We already are seeing some demand destruction from the excessive prices.
It's a pickle for sure... we have a nation and society who thinks they can make a living twitch streaming and doing gig work and nobody wants to go into construction or anything blue collar, so the houses don't get built, the bridges don't get fixed... this is one reason collapsing these asset bubbles is a good thing... too many people making fake wealth from pumped up asset prices... a generation of young people that compared to past generations loathes manual labor.

What happened to the GOP mantra of "don't interfere with the market." All the internet tough guys are so anti government but when the "market" is kicking their collective azz's they cry for help from---The government..Only the most clueless people really believe that the president has some kind of steering wheel to allow him to avoid life's potholes, as though the economy is a thing that easily lends itself to control, as though the president has the gas price control lever right in his hand..Fools support their party, thinkers expect almost nothing from either party..
