It's too early. A good team doesn't show their game plan until game day on the field. Joe Biden created this mess so let the Democrats sweat. What did Biden do the very first week he was in office??
So you don't have an actual answer as to what Republicans would do to lower gas prices, and for all anyone knows, they could make things it's worse.
Biden will still be President so of course the Republicans can't do anything, but as crappy as having $5 a gallon for gas is, it still beats $8-$10 a gallon, which is likely what will happen with Democrats continuing having complete control over this country. Gas Prices are not going down anytime soon until 2025 if a Republican wins the WH, and even that's not guarantee.
So you don't know what, and you have a hope of when, but no assurances even then.
So we have no what, when or how.
But the GOP is going to save us from this gas crisis.
As soon as they figure out how. Maybe in 2025. Or not.
simple...assess, find, drill, and REFINE...you understand that's 180' off from what the demoncrats have allowed
Um, the oil barons won't do it. Do you think nobody thought of this?
"So, what’s going on? Typically when oil prices spike, it’s time to drill, right? Maybe not.
It turns out there’s a lot that’s holding American producers back. Ellen R. Wald, president of Transversal Consulting, said first and foremost is the idea of “capital discipline.”
“Some of it is definitely due to this emphasis now on paying down debts and return on investment. But also we’re seeing a real reluctance among investors to shell out more money for new drilling,” she said."
Dude was the king of gimmicks... so I guess he would be the expert here.
Don't forget the Obama phone, which we are still paying for on our phone bills every month. Obama's entire Presidency was based on gimmicks of taking from the working class and giving to the non-working class.

American Petroleum Institute to Biden: "While members of your administration have recently discussed the need for additional supplies to solve the energy crisis, your administration has restricted oil and natural gas development, canceled energy infrastructure projects, imposed regulatory uncertainty, and proposed new tax increases on American oil and gas producers competing globally."
This administration has to be a special kind of stupid (as well as anyone who voted for Biden and doesn't remember the stuff The Big Guy said):
The proposed 90-day tax holiday would suspend the federal gas tax of 18 cents and 24 cents for diesel.
Biden has also asked states to cut their gas tax or offer some relief to drivers.
California’s gas tax will increase to 54 cents on July 1.
Relief may vary: UCSD's economics professor Alan Gin said gas stations are not required to lower prices by the full tax amount. However, Gin mentioned that any break consumers can get, could help locally.
“For every one cent that the price of a gallon of gasoline goes down, that’s $1 million a month added to the local economy,” Gin said.
The president also asked the gas industry to increase production. Biden proposed the industry refine more oil into gasoline. However, Gin said, oil production is slow to rebound.
Meanwhile, debate at the state capitol is moving slowly over giving $400 rebates to all registered drivers in California. Some experts have said that might be a better option to suspending the gas tax.
“You’d definitely be getting money into the hands of consumers. And if it’s in the form of a card they have to go out and spend it, and that would pump money into the economy,” Gin said.
The tax holiday Biden is proposing is not finalized. Congress still needs to approve it.
