On board. But that would require the democrats compromising, which given their track record for the past 50 years, won't happen. It's always their way or the highway.
then let's take the highway to post #57 ^^^ up there ^^^
If you split the country into two, each of those would inevitably be split into two or more factions. Do those split into two? Where does it stop? A more useful approach is to work out your differences.
Yeah, you're right. We should have sent this money over to Ukraine instead.
No farmers = no food.
Deflect much? If you read the article a lot of this ‘free money’ wasn’t necessary. Hell two weeks ago I was meeting with bankers all over eastern Montana and sure enough they were reporting a lot of their Ag customers received an unannounced large deposit from the US Treasury. Apparently they received a freebie payment of 70% of their insured losses up to $150,000.
So they got PAID for their insured losses and then got a payment on top of THAT.
That would basically conclude that the Founding Fathers were wrong in their expectation that they had the model for good governance.
And HOW do you split it. What are the economic engines of the USA? Who gets those economic resources?
Having lived in Canada where some in Quebec have wanted to separate for years. The philosophical discussions are easy, the reality is not.
I think the USA can be united and diverse. Some major issues to work with but we can get their. That's the whole reason the USA has been a model for other countries.
Haven't we tried that before. So here we are. Openly advocating for dissolving democracy.
