You can’t really deport 10 million illegal immigrants. Many are hiding in plain sight.

One party was very interested in building a wall to decrease the flow of illegals.

But yes, illegals are largely just here to make money and not commit crime, loot, protest, riot, kneel for the anthem, or cause havoc, so either party just doesn’t mind them. Other the hand, Haitians on the border who were living in Central America were deported in 2 seconds by Democrats.

They do commit crime though by committing felony ID theft and/or tax evasion in order to work here and many go on to commit more serious crimes. They cost the taxpayer over $100 billion a year. They steal jobs from Americans by working for less. They create overcrowded conditions in our schools, jails, hospitals, roads and neighborhoods. They put added stress on our natural and social resources.

What needs to be done is to finish the wall and to remove all of the incentives for them to come here and to remain here. Also, our immigration laws needs to be enforced internally to. Once discovered they need to be deported ASAP no languishing in our court system for months or years.

Several more groups of birds arrive and the couple is still amused. Hundreds of hungry birds arrive, more than they can feed, and the couple is concerned and nervous. Thousands then arrive, covering the ground and trees, and the couple is trembling in fear.

That, to me, about sums up both welfare and illegal immigration. On an individual basis, most of us feel empathy for someone in need who is trying to have a better life. But when one is taken care off, all the others take notice and come until it is overwhelming.

Then DC and NYC should be happy to receive them and perhaps they should contribute towards the transportation costs to send more.

I don't have any problem with migrants, documented or not, who are scamming the system -- on some kind of social program that is only for citizens, being deported.

I do have a problem with a 25 year old who arrived as an infant, has gone through school and is now ready to get a job, be an active member of society and they aren't given the opportunity. At this point we have invested in them and should encourage them to get jobs, pay taxes and become part of our economy.

The individual snow surging the border asking for asylum.....if the legal process has been to process them accordingly, we need to continue or make changes to the laws. AND given the amt. of jobs unfilled in this country right now, it is clear we could use more workers willing to take those jobs.

When we arrived in the USA, my husband had a work visa for the specific company he was working for. If he lost that job, we would have had to leave. If another company wanted to hire him, they would have had to apply for another visa.

Once we had our green card, we could lose a job but had to get another one -- and green card leaves you very susceptible to being deported at anytime for any reason deemed reasonable by any immigration officer.

Let's apply those same rules.

AND I always struggle with the estimates of who are illegal and hiding. How do they count that. -- lol.

I love Hispanics. I’m just talking about the costs for healthcare, schools, and benefits. And I don’t believe them working for less is a benefit to us.

You keep acting like there really are millions of jobs going unfilled. I call bs on that one.

Illegal alien Hispanics or any other illegal aliens are not of more value than they cost us. They cost us over $100 billion a year opposed to the $19 billion they pay in taxes.

By working for less they are removing employment opportunities from Americans. They commit felony ID theft and/or tax evasion to work here. They send billions back to their home countries not spent in our economy. They overcrowd our schools, jails, healthcare facilities, roads and neighborhoods and drive up rent prices due to the law of supply and demand. Some people in here don't know WTH they are talking about and they are either bleeding hearts without a brain in their heads, hire them for profit or have ethnic ties to them. They are anti-American traitors!

It's not. This overload of cheap labor has killed many markets like construction.
