Yeh he appointed Wray based on the recommendation of a professional politician. Chris Christie gave him the name. One would assume Christie being an federal prosecutor could read an FBI agent worthy of management.

Also keep in mind federal law enforcement not only requires a congressman's or senators' recommendation just to get hired come promotion time they also frequently need a nudge from a politician. Just like ladder climbers in corporate America government department head want to bes have to campaign and lobby for the job including smoozing with politicos letting it be known they be interested in management one day.. He knows who he has to appease to keep his job.

But that's part of the issue in government. Too many in government have favors to pay off.

So Trump trusted Christie and that wasn't a good thing. He's definitely a poor judge of character. Most of his senior staff have bailed on him. OUCH.

Where was he.

Scott keeps saying 'they visited' him.

You don't 'visit' someone in public. You confront, meet up but not visit.

I'm not sure we are getting the right info.

LOL - Perry was part of a conspiracy to subvert the majority will of American voters. He deserves to be locked away in a prison.

Not to mention all of the Trump-appointed judges who threw out his Big Lie lawsuits. Yep, he sure can pick 'em.

No word on why the FBI seized his phone, perhaps J6 investigation?

Perry says it is banana republic level stuff.

Give someone a heads-up that you're going to seize their phone to look at their texts and call data? Sure, what could possible go wrong.

Why does he think he has some right to privacy the rest of the country doesn't have when confronted with a search warrant?

If the FBI seized my phone, I don't think I would be grandstanding about IRS hiring on national tv.

Leftists believe that government employees are supposed to be their bosses "wingman" like the corrupt Eric Holder that covered for Barry.
