I truly hate to be so vulgar, but Moderator cut: then don’t be, please, Ms. Williams! You are a world renowned tennis champion, who holds many records and awards. Yet, you still find some way to be a victim...

Sigh.

She can have both. Hell, it’s not like she already doesn’t have a team of nannies. She’s just trying to be a victim to explain her poor plying as of late.

She can cry me a river. When will women (and liberals) comprehend that this is indeed the “burden” for women to bear? Nobody else can do it. You either make the sacrifices or you don’t. Stop whining about being held back in your career and a phony pay gap. It’s a choice you get to make.

I’m sure there are plenty of men who would stay home and raise the kids while she goes and plays tennis. Of course she may not be as much a part of her kids life as she would like but that’s the sacrifice we all make with various things. I don’t understand her victim mentality on this.

Well, that is biological reality. She's not talking about juggling responsibilities. Men are able to father children without getting pregnant. Pregnancy does get in the way of playing professional sports. I agree I don't feel bad for her, but it's hard to argue against the biological reality.

I don't think she wants you to feel bad for her.

She's stating a reality. We are so impressed with a Tom Brady who has been able to stay in the game for so long. And all along he has been able to father how many kids?

It is a biological thing and seemingly unfair to women who have the same desire to keep striving for number one in her sport.

She talked about how hard it was after her first child to get back into top form. She's older now and another pregnancy will set her back.

Don't see it as some kind of woe is me I'm a woman. See it as more of a I am a competitive athlete that has sto make sacrifices for my family.

It isn't about the day to day care once the child is here.

I know women get pregnant every day but most of them aren't striving to stay at the top of their athleltic sport. It takes a minute or a few weeks and as you get older it takes even longer to just bet back to 'normal' forget trying to get to the peak of athleticism to participate in professional tennis.

She knows she can't have another child, take that time off and get back into shape to be at the same space.

Sure she can continue to compete but she won't be where she wants to be.

Gretzky, Brady all talk about how much harder it is to maintain the same level as they age. It's the same for her and then add the time off for pregnancy and it further impacts her level of athleticism.
