They never should have repealed Roe in the first place but Democrats had their shot at making it law on the Federal level in the past, when they controlled Congress and the White House under Obama for *TWO YEARS*.
Why didn’t you Dems take care of your constituents when you had the chance?? You all have had almost 50 years to do it and have controlled Congress many times before. Their failure to get this done is on them, NOT Republicans (who are pro-life anyway)
Why would they need to pass a law when we already had Roe in place for 50 years. Even deeply religious countries like Ireland and Israel allow abortions but we have states with complete bans thanks to the supreme court.

To prevent it from being overturned by SCOTUS and put back into the hands of the states, like it just did.
If Democrats honestly don’t see how they dropped the ball in not pushing legislation when they’ve had the numbers to do so in the past, that’s a problem without a solution (shrug).

Well, to be fair, we were lied to by the last three SC justices who were seated. They all told us, while under oath pretending to tell the truth, that Roe v Wade was settled law and a precedent of the U.S. Supreme Court.
Granted, we were idiots for believing these right wing SC justice nominees. I guess we were foolish enough to believe judges would tell the truth under oath. We've learned that hard lesson now.
Graham's bill is not going anywhere. Why pretend it will?
Because it's a bellwether on where the GOP stands on the issue. It needs to be put in front of voters so they understand what they are voting for if they turn the Congress over to the GOP.

Graham doesn't speak for the majority GOP
McConnell has already shot down Graham's proposed bill.
