For those of you that support John Fetterman, could you enlighten the rest of us on why?

He was supported by his parents into his late 40s, it just came out he didn't pay his taxes for years, and he's a failed mayor of a slum neighborhood in Pittsburgh.

What exactly is his appeal? That he wears a hoodie? That he's a big, bald dude? He is a supporter of the most extreme elements of the left wing, and he is unable to even speak now because he just had a stroke.

I'm not saying his opponent is the greatest candidate ever...but he's at least a self-made guy that is for all intents and purposes pretty moderate.

For months the media has been gas lighting that this race is over, even in purple PA, and that the radical leftist will win by 10+ points, in a year where the natural wind is against Democrats, because Oz called vegetables a strange name!

I'm just trying to figure out, why?

I don't follow the PA election but I have to say, his hoodie and generally unkempt appearance is really off-putting. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I would expect my candidate to dress appropriately when he's on TV (if he can't respect his audience enough to dress properly, why should I respect him in return?). Wear a polo shirt at least, I would imagine it costs the same as a hoodie.

Honestly, I don’t think any of the above matters. Democrats just want a reliable “D” vote in the Senate, regardless of whether or not their candidate is impaired.

He's that loser, that you are always told not to become. He skated through life with living on someone's inheritance.

It could be that he kind of comes off as a blue collar everyman(even though he isn't) but he spouts the extreme leftist talking points, so maybe they think he'll lend legitimacy to their madness among no nonsense blue collar type voters. Or it could just be that he's the candidate with the "D" next to his name.

If I had to guess the left's response to this one, I would say something like... At least he's not Trump.

And that strategy did work for Biden.

Maybe he wears a hoodie to hide that thing on the back of his neck.

The simple fact that he wants to release a large portion of
the prison population should be enough to disqualify this idiot.

I agree. Lieutenant Governor Fetterman does not dress for the job he is applying for, and it is very off-putting.
