I hope to be a ground zero in the event of a worldwide nuclear attack. I can't imagine living in post nuclear war.

they will hit the military installations first then they will hit the larger cities. Those that are still alive will have to deal with the Fallout and the aftermath of gamma rays and radiation.

What else are we supposed to do if there's going to be a nuclear war?

Enjoy the light show while you can. Like voting. Not much you can do in the aftermath.

Survive, and rebuild... the ear mark of civilization. You think this is the first POSSIBLE cataclysmic event to
impact the human race?

Personally if we do have a nuclear war the southern hemisphere may escape the event entirely.

I'm okay with it as long as Russia is reduced to rubble!

Yeah, and the CDC will probably record all the deaths as being attributable to COVID. At least we won’t have to listen to anti-vax BS like this anymore.

I remember that and my older siblings had to do that longer than I had to. It was pretty much almost over by my time in late sixties. I don't know about the 70's. I remember my Mother getting so angry that we would stop and hide under a table on the street when we were getting something to eat on the sidewalk outdoor lunch.

As my social studies teacher said way back in high school if there’s an all-out nuclear war you wanna be dead center right where the first missile lands so you don’t feel a thing. Because if by chance you do survive the actual blasting of 25,000 nuclear missiles around the world going off? Your life is not going to be very fun for the next few day to months until you die a miserable death. So yeah, That’s my preparation.
