Selfishly, if a Hiroshima-type nuke hits the U.S., I'm not worried because I'm old, and the way the world is going, I am not sure that I want to be part of the future, anyway.
That being said, I think I would actually welcome an EMP type attack, though -- for reasons I prefer not to state.
Well, there will definitely never be an internet again. Goodbye Twitter and Facebook — forever.

If we didn't die instantly, I wish there was a pill to take so that we can die peacefully and with no suffering. Thanks Joe Biden for making us have to think like this.

I actually, truly think that there is such a pill that will be marketed within the next ten years to prevent horrific suffering of one kind or another. I can think of three scenarios where people might prefer to take the pill than not take it -- some kind of horrible virus with a 99% contagion rate and a 100% fatality rate, the number of old people being so numerous that they would be put into some kind of prison with virtually no care whatsoever, or in the case of some kind of nuclear winter where one faces either starvation or a slow death by radiation poisoning.
Morbid thoughts, I know.
