The former guy's 'investment' in the selection of Supreme Court justices seems to be giving him the same rate of return as the rest of his investment history.

He is indeed a genuine loser.

We must remember that Mr. Trump had appealed a very narrow portion of the 11th Circuits ruling: Mr. Trump wished for the Court to order that the 100 or so classified documents in the possession of the DOJ be turned over to the Special Master.

The Court refused to hear the appeal. Hence, said documents remain with the DOJ. The Special Master may review the other thousands of documents that were found in Mr. Trump's possession, at a cost to Mr. Trump of some $500 per billable hour.

So the s.c considers Trump's ploy to be: 97% ineffective. The 3% was them being relieved the words HUGELY and EPIC weren't used in the petition.
Bottom line: SCOTUS DENIED TRUMPS PETITION.

That's a fact .

Mr Trump's supporters donated money to cover the $500/hour. Mr Trump won't pay a cent out of his own pocket. That's how he rolls.

It appears the thread about the New York Attorney General's suit against Mr. Trump is gone, so I will stick this here:

https://www.businessinsider.com/trum...d-suit-2022-10

Briefly, Mr. Trump had been avoiding being served with the lawsuit. A judge allowed service via email to Mr. Trump's attorney. I believe that Eric Trump was likewise served. The article notes that Don Jr. and Ivanka did not resist being served.

Yup, on a Saturday morning, right in front of my suburban home, all the neighbors out celebrating. Affluent, educated professionals, mostly late 30's, early 40's couples w/kids, men earn enough the wives don't work. Home values here $500k and up. Woke me up, b/c I sleep late. Literally dancing in the streets.

Trumpers just don't get how truly odious this man is for those living in reality - the lying, neverending gaslighting, self-serving narcissist, fact-free world of Trump is an anathema. 91% turnout in my suburb, usually a Republican bastion, 63% voted for Biden. And they danced in the streets.

The real issue is do we live in the real world - or the fantasy world of a madman? Do we want our votes to count - or only votes that go "my way?" Country is perilously close to losing free and fair elections. When that goes, it's all over for us. Next up, authoritarian rule.

Nothing else matters - not the price of food, gas. Nothing.
