At this point, a subpoena from the He-Man Woman-Haters Club would have more credibility and validity
than one issued from this collection bull Schiffers.

Some of you folks act as if this was Mr. Trump’s first time in attempting to fight subpoenas.

Who can forget this time?

Trump lawyer says president couldn’t be prosecuted for shooting someone on Fifth Avenue
Trump’s personal attorney William Consovoy made the remark during oral arguments in a case involving a Manhattan District Attorney subpoena seeking Trump’s tax returns and financial records from his accounting firm. The president’s attorneys have argued he has blanket immunity from criminal prosecution and even investigation while in office.

The SCOTUS did not agree.

Supreme Court won’t halt turnover of Trump’s tax records
The Supreme Court waited months to act in the case. The last of the written briefs in the case was filed Oct. 19. But a court that includes three Trump appointees waited through the election, Trump’s challenge to his defeat and a month after Trump left office before issuing its order.

The court offered no explanation for the delay, and the legal issue before the justices did not involve whether Trump was due any special deference because he was president.

Sussman who was an associate of Perkins Coie where the FBLie had an office in their firm wasn’t hired by Hillary Clinton and handed the fake dossier to the FBLie. Obama and his administration wasn’t aware of any of this scandal to overturn an election? The democrats didn’t challenge the 2000, 2004, and 2016 election? You need better news sources rather getting your information from propaganda sites.

You already know that the "few hundred" rioters were useful fools. They are short bus people. Incompetent and misinformed. Traitors who had every intention to stop the transfer of power to the rightful winner.

Of course they were not going to get away with that, would they? How does breaking windows and pooping on the floor accomplish their goals?

Their crimes were very serious because of what they intended to do and what they seriously attempted to do, not because they were capable of accomplishing it. They were highly motivated idiots. That is why Trump was able to use them as a foil.

So we can set that aside now, you and I both know that despite every intention they were not going to overturn the government by themselves.

The real action, going on at the same time, was the fake elector scheme. A conspiracy you somehow never mention. I guess it helps to pretend there is nothing behind the curtain.

The rioters were intended to terrorize the congress, and get Pence out of the building. Grassley was all set and briefed to take Pence's place and formally accept the fake electors in place of the real ones.

Pence knew this, which is why he refused to leave.
Agree.

Regarding bold: what makes it worse is that it is all too reminiscent of an earlier egregious blight in the historical record:

From a letter South Carolina’s Republican governor, Robert K. Scott, wrote to President Ulysses Grant in the fall of 1870 during the Reconstruction era following the American Civil War, he wrote:

“The opposition had declared that they will not submit to any election which does not place them in power.” Klan sympathizers were even plotting to disrupt the vote tally. “I am convinced that an outbreak will occur here on Friday … the day appointed by law for the counting of ballots.”
In response to political violence by the Ku Klux Klan and others during the Reconstruction era following the American Civil War, Congress passed three Enforcement Acts giving the federal government broader powers to guarantee citizens' constitutional rights,

Cheney: 1/6 panel won't let Trump turn testimony into circus

WASHINGTON (AP) — The House committee investigating the Capitol riot won't give Donald Trump the chance to turn a possible live TV appearance of his subpoenaed testimony into a “circus” and “food fight” as lawmakers try to ensure he complies with their demands, the panel's vice chair said Sunday.

The committee is demanding Trump’s testimony under oath next month as well as records relevant to its investigation. To avoid a complicated and protracted legal battle, Trump reportedly had told associates he might consider complying with the subpoena if he could answer questions during live testimony.

The left just can’t stop doubling down on stupidity. This entire show trial is already a circus and food fight. The left just doesn’t see it yet.

Trump’s lawyers accept service of Jan. 6 subpoena: report

Donald Trump’s legal team has accepted service of the subpoena issued to the former president by the House committee probing Jan. 6, sparing the panel further legal wrangling and delay, Politico reported Wednesday.

Matthew Sarelson, a lawyer on Trump’s legal team, voluntarily received service of the subpoena on Monday, according to Politico, which cited an unnamed source.
