Canada enacted its single-payer system long before you proved you couldn't win any war you actually started yourselves or couldn't fight any legitimate one all by yourselves.
A timely reminder might be in order; you're posting this stupidity in a thread started by an American critisizing his own country's political nonsense using Canada as a "positive" example soooooo -- it didn't start with Canadians criticizing you for anything, rather your own people doing that. It also only took 6 posts before some of you Americans started up with your usual arrogant and ignorant stupidity.

You're not making any sense. The point is, Canada couldn't afford any of their socialist nonsense programs, if they had to defend their own territory, let alone the rest of the free world. Instead, they rely on it's mighty sugar daddy to it's south, while simultaneously taking every possible opportunity to criticize us for anything. Ditto for the EU and Germany.
We chose to be the worlds superpower. We spend trillions in the middle east in wars that had nothing to do with protecting Canada or Europe. Or even America for that matter.
