The turnout of Ds was for their abortions.
That’s the type of thing that motivates them, along with free money.
Abortion and loan forgiveness. Yippee!!
Tuesday was most certainly not a loss for the D's. Nobody saw them retaining as many seats in the House and control of the Senate that morning. As it surely showed a pushback by the voters against Trump and his rhetoric it was actually a big victory.

They were successful in holding the Senate, but they still (as always happens) lost the House. NBC news has the count at 215 to 220 adv Republicans.

The Repubs are going to carry on the legacy of the previous Democratic majority and do investigations and impeachments. That will be their focus, to do to their opponents what their opponents did to them. Of course, as usual, nothing substantive will get done but what else is new?

Much more than just abortion, the republican election deniers and their mean spirited politics that do nothing but complain about democrats without any solutions.

Biden passed bills for infrastructure, PACT act for veterans, health care bill that included a cap on insulin and other prescription drug costs, climate change, gun control. What was the highlight of Trump's term other than the 2017 Tax Reform.

There was a GOP congressman on this morning, his big concern was requirement for military to be vaccinated for Covid.

I wonder if they can come together and extend the middle class tax cuts that will be expiring shortly.

Losing the house is a loss.

Now let's compare Biden's so called accomplishments with his failures. Let's start with the crisis on our border just for starters.

The GOP perfect storm was bigger than the Dem perfect storm.
it was a host of things.

People rejected Trump election deniers. Even the ones that won, won by less. Look at OH. The boring as heck governor won by 25 points. In OH, boring sells. I used to live in OH. People want politicians to do their job and not bring any drama. Thusly, Dewine won by 25 percent and lost only 3 of 88 counties. Vance the Trump pick won by only 7 percent.

Dems ran a great ground game. Give them credit.

Abortion quietly (as far as polling goes) helped the Dems. Many women never told anyone, even their husbands, that they picked the Dem.

They are great at the game of politics. Sadly the GOP doesn't seem to pay that any attention, and try to learn from it.

Oh sure. Let’s spend our way into prosperity and print more money when that’s gone. The inflation reduction act is a disaster. Democrat bills are money laundering ops. Let’s shut down all US energy production so that more Americans will suffer. But be sure to buy that EV, that’ll save you.

Biden is derelict in his duties and led by radicals. We have millions pouring over the border and US taxpayers are providing their livelihood.

Climate change is using the COVID model for control of the population. Good luck with that.

It’s a relief that they lost the house. They’re out of control.

You mean the big red wave never happened? But that was being predicted for months on here before the actual elections?

You mean this forum isn't an indicator of what the rest of the country feels or wants? Shocking I tell you, shocking!!

The only thing it proved is that pollsters are worthless and should all resign immediately.
No big deal. Gridlock was the goal and it’s done. Democrats lost the house.
