It's really despicable these media outlets want to drag through the mud someone based on what they did so very long ago, and is clearly a different person since then.

One media outlet even went so far as to retrace his possible steps in getting to that position in the photograph, insinuating that to get to that particular spot would have taken effort and could only have meant he was willing to participate in blocking the students from entering. Ludicrous.

When Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was 15 years old, his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas was the epicenter of the civil rights movement. Amid efforts to integrate local high schools, protests erupted. White students tried to block Black students from entering the building.

In a new article regarding the potential influence of Jones over the NFL’s effort to improve its admittedly woeful record of hiring minority head coaches, the Washington Post unearths a photo of a 15-year-old Jones. There he is, standing among the protestors at North Little Rock High School blocking the path of six Black students.

Its funny if you commit an actual crime and you are a minor those records can be sealed. But something like this as a 15 year old can be put out there to smear someone.

Jones has been a public figure for how long, forty years?

I'm sure the "unearthing" of this photo has nothing to do with the current articles the Post is running about the lack of Black NFL coaches.

I know one thing for sure, if I were a fifteen-year-old and some major drama like that was going to go down, I wouldn't be anywhere near it.

That's because at age fifteen I was far too mature in my understanding and wise in my judgement to not realize that sixty-five years later, someone would find me in the crowd and claim I tried to prevent black students from entering the school building.

In a related story, Americans were horrified to learn Justice Kavanaugh, as a teen, liked to go to parties and drink beer.

Funny how WAPO buried the Hunter Biden laptop story, but somehow dug up this insignificant incident from fifty years ago. Not to mention he was just a 15 year old kid at a time when this country looked much different.

So are they going to cancel Jerry now? If I had a dollar for every stupid thing I did as a teenager, I'd buy an island.

And of course we all know people cannot see that 1957 photo in context of America 1957.

They will see it and think America 2022

The liberal mainstream media is crooked. Their job is to do PR for the Democrats.

I think it depends on what he says/how he responds.

Jerry is not going to care. I don't see how the NFL would care. Its a nothing burger.
