Actually, it is their opinion, the same as people believe the earth is flat. The REAL issue here is the DEMS / FBI had asked MSM to suppress the story.
I skimmed the first half-dozen or so. They are astonishingly similar, nearly identical.
* None of them addressed anything Taibbi actually wrote.
* None of them even tried to specify "Here's what is false about what Taibbi wrote."
* All of them tried to pretend Taibbi was lying about what was in the tweets, but cited no evidence to back up the implication.
In other words, none of them reacted to anything Taibbi presented. They simply attacked the messenger instead, without even trying to cite the reasons they are attacking him or pointing out what is wrong with the message Taibbi presented.
This is what the once-great Democrat party has descended to. When they can't refute the message, or even answer it at all, they attack the messenger instead, and try to pretend they have some valid point to make.

I want the truth, simply put. While recognizing I might not ever get it. At times in history, people who call themselves journalists have cared about shining a light on the truth. Not redirecting the light away from it, so "Congress can get things done."
I don't want the Congress to get anything done anyway. I think we're at the point where Congress "getting things done" is actively harmful to the American people.
