Not looking good for DeSantis.
He's a one-state-pony, and that is why Trump will always win the primary, because Trump has a base all around America.

From the same article "DeSantis is the only individual tested with a positive rating".

That poll really does not support your enthusiasm. Trump did pretty badly in it all things considered. If he wins the R nomination it will be because the vote will be split among multiple contestants like in 2016.

Trump complained about this poll today and the polls in general. He does not see himself losing and he is not going to let any one else get in his way. If he loses or it looks bad for him in the primaries, he will quit the party and start a new MAGA party. Take it to the bank.

Exactly, Trump will win the primary, because his base is reliable, whereas DeSantis hasn't even got an established base nationally.

What have we learned about polls the past 8 years? They mean NOTHING. Especially TWO YEARS from an election where no one has even announced lol

Most actual voters in the US outside of Florida (and maybe a couple of nearby states) have likely heard of DeSantis and maybe seen him in news clips on TV, but don't know much more about him. It takes a long time and a lot of national media exposure to become better known to the general public, in order to gain a wider following. 39% approval among a national poll is surprisingly good for a governor that has never entered a national campaign, 2 years ahead of a presidential election.

I am uncertain who I'll vote for the next presidential election, but if DeSantis actually runs I'll listen to what he has to say. I would vote for someone who has the ability to speak clearly and logically about the future without resorting to name-calling and belittling other candidates.

Biden has 2024 locked up look how the midterms went in MI, and PA neither Trump nor DeSantis has any change of winning without MI, or PA. Both of those states took a hard left turn last month. DeSantis, and Trump are both trainwrecks when it comes to national politics the GOP can't even win statewide elections how are they going to win a national election?
