I agree, but I won't be holding my breath waiting for any integrity to appear.
If Republicans won't denounce a deadly attempt to overthrow our government, a president who engaged in a conspiracy to defraud the United States & overturn the 2020 election results (who once also extorted another nation's leader, praised a foreign adversary over America and gleefully admitted to practicing sexual assault), a congressman credibly accused of sex trafficking, another who called for the execution of top Democrats or be willing to change our federal gun laws after 20 first graders are massacred, they certainly won't denounce, expel or take action against a member of their "tribe" just because he's a moronic pathological liar who appears to have dubious secretive financial backing.
And before we are subjected to the kneejerk inequivalent whataboutisms and bogus both-siderism I offer the party pressured hasty resignation of Democratic Senator Al Franken due to a poor-taste prank committed when he was a comedian.
You are waisting your time if you're waiting for Republicans to denounce this fraud.
Apparently the 9/11 story of his mother were made up as well as someone found an online obituary his mother died 15 years after 9/11 in 2016.
Complete list of fabercations listed here by the right wing news website Washington Examiner.
Even Republicans are turning on this guy but they need every seat they can get as long as he rubber stamp votes according to his GOP leaders they be happy with him.
He claimed he owned 16 properties yet he lived in his sisters home. The odd thing is how did he come up with 750k he claimed to have loaned his own campaign. That is going to be a problem for him because he shows no income yet somehow has 750k dollars? It's not legal for someone to give more then $5000 so if someone game him 750k then he turned around and loaned that money to the campaign that is money laundering.
I have a feeling this guy will be in cuffs before he takes office.
Maybe. Maybe not.
I read that he is wanted in Brazil for stealing checkbooks from old people and using the checks.
Who knows if even this is true.
However, according to what I read, his sainted mother was involved in this scam as she would get jobs as a caregiver, and he would get the checkbooks.
Wish I could remember what time period that this, allegedly, occurred.

Well dang, Santos is truly pathological. Of course, politicians do lie, but this guy easily takes the cake.
Santos went from making $55K/year, working at a Ponzi scheme firm, to managing an $80 million business, allegedly.
Somewhat of a mystery at how the transformation occurred, and can't help but wonder if Santos filed accurate financial disclosure forms.
"Under the Ethics in Government Act, it is a federal crime to knowingly file false information; doing so can lead to a fine of up to $50,000 and imprisonment of up to 5 years."
Campaign disclosures, however, show that Mr. Santos paid Cleaner 123, which lists the house in Huntington as its address, nearly $11,000 in rent and a deposit. When reached by phone, a representative from Cleaner 123 confirmed that it was a cleaning company, but hung up before answering why it had received rent payments from Mr. Santos.
Unusually for a candidate who was relatively new to politics, Mr. Santos also appears to have used his campaign accounts to fund trips across the country, along with local hotel stays, according to a review of his campaign expenditures by The Times.
Over the course of his campaign, Mr. Santos spent $30,000 on hotels, $40,000 on airfare and $14,000 on car services — and campaign records suggest he also retained a campaign vehicle.
Also Warren didn't lie about her teaching positions and scholarships at University of Texas and her extensive work for government agencies, she was qualified. Right now Santos appears to have worked at a call center and some real questionable experience at some vague financial firm. Beyond the lies he doesn't appear to have any qualifications.
People voted for Santos because he was Jewish and had grandparents that escaped the holocaust, because he worked at Goldman Sachs, because he graduated college and his mother was killed on 9/11.
She also didn't have a criminal record. He was charged with embezzlement in Brazil for forging an elderly man's name on checks. This man was being cared for by Santos' mother. He confessed to the crime after being charged.
He was also evicted from 2 separate residences, and lost in small claims court and was ordered to pay $5000 plus interest to a friend he borrowed money from and never paid back.
