Yes, I’ve read extensively on it and come from a family of REPUBLICAN scientists with PhDs, all of whom are very concerned about global warming.
There is a clear scientific consensus that global warming, accelerated by human activity, is occurring. Period. (And by the way, there is clear scientific consensus that the Earth wasn’t created 7,000 years ago, too.)

If real world observed criteria are entered into the IPCC climate models for the years 1850 to 2000, what temperature do the models predict for the year 2022, and how closely did the projected temperatures from the model correspond to actually observed temperatures?

Wegot more national debt, & higher interest costs on that debt, which will eclipse $500B/yr. by the 2024 election....it was $339B/yr in 2021-22, but that was when interest rates were much lower, & didn't include ~$4T more of debt piled on in the past 2 years, & the current period.
But, its not about what we got! Its about what they got...all the corrupt politicians, CEO's, & CFO's...as Billions flowed through companies like Solyndra, & they all skimmed off the top.
It was all a money laundering tool to move huge sums of cash from the U.S. Treasury, into the hands of corrupt politicians, & their Corp accomplices.

"Thwarting" challenges is what cults, religions, and tyrants cling to.

That line of thinking brings me back to today's crazy propositions of injecting sulfur dioxide capsules in the upper atmosphere and the latest news is that a start-up has done just that, from Mexico.
Sulfur dioxide would cause acid rain. Perhaps you misread that and they’re going to try putting something in the upper atmosphere to stop the sulfur dioxide?
And out of that 200,000 years of human history, we've only been able to build villages, hamlets and towns during the last 10,000 years.
And of the last 10,000 years, we had very very basic economies and trade up until about 500 years ago.
And in the last 500 years, basically everything we have today in terms of knowledge, living standards, government, laws, technology came into existence.
Great summary. So how does that mean we'll be destroying the planet in 30 (?) years?
You really think that if we all drive Tesla's, have our homes run by wind/solar/[other "clean" resources], we will "save" our planet?
