Get rid of Political Parties.
They just cause divisiveness and gridlock...and add no benefit. Each State gets 2 Senators and a Representative for each district...no designation beyond name and State.

This solves 75% of the Government problems
I like how you are trying to solve the problem, & want to eliminate both political parties to end the gridlock.

We'd need a Convention of States to accomplish your objectives, & we are not there yet. Maybe after the 2024 election we could get there.

We can't eliminate both political parties, but we can bring voters from both sides together to get a few key things done. I believe the internet, & social media, is the key to doing so....& it can be done quickly.

As a DoD employee I hated the last week of September. The waste and stupid spending with end of year funds was nauseating. At 5pm EDT on the 30th we'd call our 'sister' command in Hawaii to buy more stupid stuff for us.

There was a man sitting g in the oval office who if given a chance might have been able to resolve some of this but alas he wasn't given the opportunity.

Once more - everything you ever want to know related to this question can be found at Office of Management & Budget - Historical Tables.

The problem, the solution, etc...all in those spreadsheets for anyone willing to do even 5 minutes of cursory analysis in Excel. No opinion, no feelings, just the cold, hard facts of data that does not and cannot lie.

You would have to be a damn fool to think we have a revenue problem as our government could bring in 25T a year and they would figure out a way to spend 26T.

The President and Congress have no problem spending American's money or using the taxpayer money to enjoy an elite lifestyle all the while using insider trading to build their financial wealth and make connections for quid pro quo.

So, to update this poll, 75% say the feds have a spending problem, & NOT a tax revenue problem...I concur.

In a prior poll I did, a similar % were mad about our annual deficits, & accumulated national debt....~76% were

In a later poll I did, less than 50% put fed gov't spending in their top 3 issues for the 2024 elections...

Our federal government politicians, & their media stooges, have successfully made social issues more important to voters than fiscal issues.

They win, & we all lose.

It starts with the concept of fiat-currency and most politicians do not see
it as a problem.

The USA was able to do wonderful things like, the Vietnam war and The New Deal, by ditching
the idea of backing the US-Dollar with tangible-assets.

I write big checks to them every year as a top 2%'er and business owner. People like me pay 75% of all taxes....taxes that get wasted most of the time.
