As an ex Fed budget analyst. Spending. Spending spending. But it’s all political crap on both sides.

Spending problem. We are now $30+ trillion in debt and most people feel their lives are the same or worse. The debt didn't pay for anything useful, it can't be considered investment. It was simply squandered. It's like a housewife that should feed her children but instead spends the entire household budget and then some on cubic zirconia jewelry from QVC. Cheap crap that has no resale value even.

*****BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT *****

Federal Sales Tax...on all but necessities (up to reasonable thresholds)...18%

Term & Age limits.
Two 4 year terms...in any office, total. No older than 70 while in office...can't run after 66.

Get rid of Political Parties.
They just cause divisiveness and gridlock...and add no benefit. Each State gets 2 Senators and a Representative for each district...no designation beyond name and State.

This solves 75% of the Government problems

Do we really need SEVEN milk programs so that everyone can get milk ? Fully funded separate agencies.
Where I hunt there are 3 Federal operations going on with 3 more at a local level all trying to do the same job. All are doing it poorly.

Border Patrol
BLM
Department of Homeland Security

There are so many LE vehicles out there it's like a parade.

I'd disband the Dept of Education in its entirety.

If anyone thinks that we can make cuts alone to balance the budget let's hear the proposal.
The most expensive item in any organization is the Employee. Pelosi just raised the staffer wages to over $200,000 + Benefits. The Federal Government is BLOATED with people who can’t even do audits, or often even show up for work.
And why should they? They can’t be fired, no matter what they do.

That’s the fasted reduction. Cut the BLOAT.

Here's how my dad put it. The main issue on the spending problem is the military industrial complex and foreign aid. He said that taxes are too high because of spending on the military and foreign aid. And he's a conservative. Those are the main drivers of federal governments spending problem. He also says he thinks that the politicians shouldnt get freebies like free healthcare free retirement etc. so that's my dads take on this. I guess he's more of a libertarian, but he doesn't like the democrats one bit he's totally against dems. I was watching a DW documentary on YouTube and it says the military industrial complex is a real thing, that the US spent billions on obsolete fighter jets which wont help us against china etc.

9 Republican Senators vot for the most recent $1.7T porkulus spending bill.

During his tenure, Trump signed off on Trillions more in deficit spending.

BOTH sides are guilty of over-spending. The Dems are worse, but the Pubs have blood on their hands too.
