China started a nationwide limit on video games a couple years ago. The limit is three hours per week for kids. Do democrats that love China realize the extreme limitations put in place such as this one? How could they still admire these type of limitations? There of course are many more but examples are everywhere, they are widely known.
This sort of rule reflects the classic Chinese cultural tendency of looking up to the state to be a sort of "nanny" or "guardian" of society. It's much more a Confucian cultural thing than a CCP thing if you know anything about China's history beyond the superficial crap that both MSNBC and Fox would show you. I am pretty sure that many American parents who are dealing with their uncontrollable kids would secretly admire and envy the Chinese.....

The Communist Chinese are not stupid since they know that they can defeat America by burning it down from the inside, simply using the lowest of the lowest information voters within the US.
Yeah, I think the CCP has strongly influenced much of our tech companies and had influence in our universities for some time. They use social media to influence opinions that either favor them or cause divisive destruction in the USA, it's working very well for them.
After living and working in China, I see several benefits of their system including the fact that once the CCP decides to do anything, they can go full scale without any threats of interference from other stakeholders. The problem is when they have bad leadership, like during Mao's day, there's no way to throw the bums out.
This has been generally my take on China (and Russia) with regards to centralized power.
It's great when they're making good decisions but they can drive the proverbial bus off the cliff when they make a bad decision and if they start to get a little wild\crazy you can't get rid of them.
Historically, one could argue that some of those countries have been their own greatest enemy. (Like Mao)

100%! Today's left would rather NOT think because, gasp, they might be guilty of spreading misinformation, disinformation or conspiracy theories. Interesting how the media has boxed in half of our nation. So instead these people are just waiting for the next command or directive from CNN or the Biden Administration. Isn't that a scary thought? Look at the collusion of the Democratic Party, the tech leaders, and the media. The Chinese model of governance is what they are after.

The Communist Chinese see that they can have a road in through the Democrat Party because they are big on federal government while the Republican Party are big on states rights. It is much easier to infiltrate for purposes of a dictatorship to use the Democrat big federal government as a dictatorship growing big federal government to clamp down on the people such as communism does. The Chinese communists wouldn't have a road in because the Republicans are for states rights which are 50 states and could not penetrate in any way of all the states becoming a dictatorship or a totalitarian government. The Democrats are for big big and bigger federal government. And more totalitarian control of the American people.
