I hope the Quebecers turn them away or tell them they have to to Northern Quebec if they want.

Because they don’t want to come here. Only those seeking a better life come here, not those that already have one.

It'd be interesting to know why you think Europeans aren't clamoring to get into the US?

I guess the United States and especially New York City is not like they thought it was in the movies.

According to the NY Post article one migrant with a massive family said "“I only ask God that everything goes well and that Canada is not like the United States.”

I do feel sorry for these people. I don't know if they are technically refugees. Are we just supposed to turn the US into a giant repository for all the people who illegally flood into the US, because they live in countries with dysfunctional governments?

I understand how it becomes difficult to try and legally immigrate to the US from a country like Venezuela, since that government is so corrupt and hateful.

The problem is that most of these people are coming here for economic gain on the backs of the American worker/taxpayer. They aren't refugees or legitimate asylum seekers. They are the poor, unskilled and uneducated that end up being a tax burden to our society. The only jobs they can take are low paying ones that does not support their living costs. I am also concerned about their numbers being in the millions which puts added stress on our schools, healthcare facilities, roads, neighborhoods (housing) and our natural resources.

We cannot take in the whole world's needy. We have enough of our own needy and homeless. We can't be the saviours to the whole world. This should have been stopped long ago. Time they stayed in their own countries and fixed them.

I'm concerned about it in the macro sense of the word IE trend. I acknowledge that people have the individual right to date whomever they please but it seems

1) Low status males think they have a shot at high status females then give up when that does not work out.

2) Many females are happy being part of a harem of a higher status male. I hear it in several of my daughters HS friends as I play taxi.

It worries me as a trend.

There's examples all over my workplace. The few women who work there are most certainly not loyal given their behavior and despite the fact it's 85% men where I work there are a few men in particular who get the lion's share of the attention. It's so obvious if one sits and people watches.

Around 65% of the men are basically invisible to these women. They man has to be confident and outgoing because when there is so much supply they can be picky. Just sit and observe women's behavior...not what they say, what they are doing. There is no loyalty, unless you are high status, then they fight with the 35 other women for their chance to lock you down, often destroying their mental health in the process when they can't get him. It's all very much wired into their DNA.

I mean, I've posted videos on here before that explain womens attraction...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wyct_8OL1Zg

The older married people here don't really understand the scope of the problem social media has brought to the picture. There is unlimited supply and no pressure for young women to be loyal. They chase tingles, period. Every woman under the age of 30 is pretty much plugged into her phone and thus the pop cultural social matrix pretty much their entire waking lives.

The rules of the game have changed and monogamy and family values are gradually decaying over time in favor of Independence and self-exploration. Women no longer need men and a lot of them think the family life is boring. The government will bail them out and pay for their children regardless of what man has them, so there's no real pressure to choose a responsible man over an irresponsible more exciting one.

I suggest you read up on what jurisdictions the Quebec Government has, and what jurisdictions the federal Government of Canada has.

Plenty of young people in Europe cannot get jobs like in Spain. Grass is always greener as they say. Plus they wont be giving up their Euro citizenship. They can always go back and forth. Plus if they are well off in Europe, surely they can start off with nice little nest egg here in states.

Tell that to the poster above. If they really want to get here, then I say let them. Better than third worlders who cultures are vastly different. I am not even of white euro descent myself and saying this.
