There's plenty of video where the cops are simply standing around doing absolutely nothing, even when protesters were begging them to do something...just like Babbitt had done at least twice. Videos proving these things had been posted a number of times in this forum, perhaps you two should take the time to view them?
The cops could have quickly cleared out the area where Babbitt had been shot, before she'd been gunned down, if they'd tossed a can of pepper spray/mace into the room when those idiots first began to try to break the windows.
Were the cops instructed to not do anything and to allow the violence to happen on that day? It sure seems like it. Maybe some of the hidden video will have the answer to that question.
If the cops around the country had been as bad at their jobs in protecting the federal, local buildings and people in them then many of those buildings would have fallen to blm antifa and would have likely been burned and those inside would have been harmed or killed.

There's plenty of video and picture that show this was clearly a riot and not some Sunday outing as so many like to describe it but the fact remains that she herself placed herself in the situation.
Releasing the videos to only one news outlet is wrong. They should be made available to all. Why not just post them on congress.gov for anyone to watch?
This is one of the lower tier police personnel actually trying to do his job, not privy to the decisions made by those at the elite level.

Tucker Carlson is one of a few guys left on tv who actually tells the truth. Liberals who refuse to watch him would be shocked how he continually bashes Republicans, in addition to calling out the lunatic left.
Tucker criticizes guys like McConnell, Lindsay Graham, and many other Republicans on a regular basis. Many won’t even come on his show.
But that’s how you know who is telling the truth. If you never criticize your own side, it means you are lying.
I like Hannity, like his message, but even I know he is nothing more than a Republican cheerleader who ignores when they do wrong. But you need a guy like him, otherwise they would quit coming on his show like they do Tucker’s show.
Anyway, whatever Tucker says on this issue, I don’t have to wonder if he is lying, because he won’t be.

They all do it, but don’t ever bet on Tucker once he opens his mouth on Tv etc. he is well paid for his silver tongue.
Why would McCarthy hand over all of these tapes to one person at one channel? Sounds like he wants to put a spin on it. Isn't this some sort of Ethics or Security violation? Is this part of the compromise he had to make with those that didn't vote for him to be elected Speaker?

Even though it had turned into a riot, not all who were there were rioting.

Don't play word semantics riot/insurrection I'll leave that for the lawyers. All she had to do was not enter when she saw what was occurring or at the very least leave when it descended into the mayhem that was going on.
