Because Trump has consumed souls and hurt feelings so badly they want to get him under any way necessary. Imagine spending 7+ years, especially one’s golden years obsessing 24/7/365 to get someone. Some extremely disturbed folks out there.

There's also thirty more charges against him, linked to business corruption. With that many charges, he's got to be guilty of something big, hush-money or not. In any case, if 1998 Reps were so big on trying to nail him to a perjury charge related to a sex matter, then they should be ok with Dems going after Trump over the hush-money payments. It is a misdemeanor under New York law to misclassify business expenses. That can become a felony if done to cover up another crime.

Not necessarily. Its been said each time a check was written to Cohen from Trump was a charge. That is 12. And each time the entry was put into accounting that is 12 more. So we are at 24. Then add to it the state of NY claiming that Trump violated federal campaign law. That might push you over 30. That easily could be everything.
