From a political perspective, the Republican party needs to remove Trump from possible re-election.

The Republicans need to save their party from Trump, and his followers.

Good luck with that.

It's more likely that the democrats will rule in perpetuity, because Trump has split the Republican party in half, for the future.
You or the establishment doesn't decide that. That's why We have a 50 state primary. You want to takeout Trump to take back the GOP to the Bush doctrine? No thank you. What Trump did to the party, it has to be done in the Democrat party. It just Bernie Sanders is too weak and has NO teeth. Democrats need an outsider badly that will challenge the establishment. Sadly, they don't have one.

You think We will become a 1 party country? LOL. We are divided and it's going to stay that way for a long time. I'm not voting for a candidate that wants to unite the country by selling out. This has become a Banana Republic and Democrats did that.

What could Democrats do that spells Banana Republic more than an ex-president who refuses to accept the results of an election that he lost and attempts to steal it back?

Starting impeachment talks before a candidate won, sparking a goosechase and continued impeachment talks after he won, continuing impeachment talks throughout a plandemic, continuing the goosechase for 7+ years, etc…, because he won and hurt folks feelings and made mean tweets because he fought back against the goosechasers.

News media says "Sources" it's not official, but it makes sence to me this would not be worth it otherwise.
