So you never had to participate in diversity, inclusiveness, multicultural "training" for work? That's being forced as a condition of employment to agree with these political policies. The problem is ALL companies and organizations force their employees to do it. It is virtually inescapable.
Diversity was one of the modules in onboarding training videos, specifically detailing the company's written policies on the subject. It was in the same group of modules that the company addressed things like their employee protections, anti-harassment policies, ombudsman resources, HR policies, IT use policies, legal rights, patent ownership, etc. That's been the case for at least 2 decades, not just something recent. If a potential employee doesn't like or agree with a company's written policies, no one forces them to join the company.

As more or less a liberal I disagree with such enforced training. Someone crosses a line, you fire that person. Done. You make it clear on your company policy that XYZ will not be tolerated and you keep a paper trail.
My husband has to listen in over and over again from his boss how men are this, that and the other, men are so bad, men are never inclusive, men are the problem, these are flaws "mostly by men," fix ABC...this is AT the sensitivity training sessions. With everyone nodding along.
Good idea, frequently bad execution. It's supposed to head off abuse but in itself can be very abusive. No bueno.
Now, a commercial that is inclusive but puts nobody down...that doesn't compare. You can change the channel. You can laugh. You can not buy. No biggie. You're not forced to drink a certain beer while obediently listening in. You don't lose your house if you refuse to nod along to an ad. It just doesn't compare.

Every year the Feds take it online. We push through as eat lunch, get work done and talk on the phone. We understand- treat everyone right with respect. The golden rule. It’s not that hard bud.

It compares as it reflects big organizational structure and rules today. It's Woke Fascism. This vp would have been fired by now but she's a female, Woke torch bearer and they're afraid of repercussions.

However, you can just change the channel. It's a commercial.
They'll be the judge of whether or not this ad works out. If not they pull it. Another reason there is no comparison.

It's not new, I assure you. I remember big company rules from 30 years ago. Standards were there too, in writing, at major companies. It's not "woke fascism." It's called Human Resource Policies, and they've existed longer than most realize. These are *legal* issues that can and do affect companies, specifically possible areas for litigation, and every large company spends $$$$ with lawyers to make sure they are protected.
The VP of Bud Lite can be fired if she's a "work at will" employee and not on a specific contract term. Her performance metrics can and often are a factor in continued employment. Do you know her KPIs (key performance indicators)? You'd have to know the legal specifics that might or might not protect her. If you don't know A.B.'s legal policies as pertains to senior executive employment (and a VP is considered a senior executive), then you can't know what could or could not happen. None of us here know that.
