Lol. We’re simply waiting to see when he said he was running, which seems to be an unpopular question

Quite the assumption of not caring for people. DeSantis getting Disney to pay more benefits the welfare of the state. After all you continue to say money is needed for problems folks have, but for some reason you’re not in favor of that happening if Disney accounts for some of it

Becaue Disney gets a discount issuing municipal bonds compared to having to underwrite them as a private company, they’re able to save money on the infrastructure-building process. That money saved turns into money that is able to be spent on other areas of the park complex, leading to more tourists and more economic growth for central Florida.

I thought Republicans were supposed to be the party of lowering taxes to encourage economic growth and all?

Only when it fits their narrative.

At least you finally admit them losing their special tax status wouldn’t have them paying the same.

Since when isn’t Disney capable of expanding their brand that would result in economic growth?

Funny stuff as Dems are in favor of raising taxes, but not in Disney’s case….because DeSantis

DeSantis has been campaigning on these social issues for the last 3 years, Florida’s largest problem is Disney.

Yes it would. DeSantis has picked a fight with Disney who has done more for their economy than anyone else could ever do. Every other state would love to have Disney. Disney has top notch lawyers which they can afford. Who's paying for DeSantis's lawyers in this case. Oh I guess taxpayers. Why would anyone go against their own best interest.

They wouldn’t have paid more to the state of Florida if they’d had to go the private bond route so the whole bit about them ‘not paying their fair share of taxes’ is nonsense.

Where they would have paid more was to the suits on Wall Street underwriting the bonds.

The ability to generate municipal bonds highly likely led them to paying more money in taxes on the improved to a greater degree land they had rather than paying back private bond debt to Wall Street.

Good.

Instead of Trump versus DeSantis it’s Micky Mouse vs DeSantis
