Al-Qaeda's terrifying vision of a devastated America in the wake of a nuclear attack | Mail Online (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1022840/Al-Qaedas-terrifying-vision-devastated-America-wake-nuclear-attack.html - broken link)

Washington is laid to waste. The Capitol is a blackened, smoking ruin. The White House has been razed. Countless thousands are dead.
Ahh, the hint of sulfur and sweat through the mid-day air reminds me slightly of Baghdad's environment following 'Shock and Awe' I and II.
"If they turn on the radars we're going to blow up their goddamn SAMs (surface-to-air missiles). They know we own their country. We own their airspace... We dictate the way they live and talk. And that's what's great about America right now. It's a good thing, especially when there's a lot of oil out there we need."
- U.S. Brig. General William Looney (Interview Washington Post, August 30, 1999) [Referring to the brutal mass-murder of hundreds of civilian Iraqi men, women and children during 10,000 sorties by American/British war criminals in the first eight months of 1999]
I wonder if Hiroshima and Nagasaki looked similar? Probably -- I know Truman regretted "pressing that button." I guess 300,000 innocent civilians were equal to 2,403 American Marines/Navy members.
I wonder if women, children, and husbands in Palestine wished Israeli-American bombs weren't dropped on their neighborhoods.
It seems none pale in comparison to the brutal dictators sent to power in Tehran in the form of Reza Shah, by D. Eisenhower and W. Churchill. The rest: Hussain, Abacha, Batista, Banzer, Cerezo, Diem, Hassan II, Pinochet, Somoza (and Jr.), et al.
Maybe we should consider minding our own business before a gory picture like the one you posted really does play out. Afterall, terrorism and anti-American sentiment isn't because we're: Christian, free, or democratic.
