Capitalism, not liberalism.

I'm in pretty much the same boat. One of the benefits of being old is that I won't have to deal with the dumpster fire created by liberals/progs for very long. I worry for youngsters though, but my sympathy for them is offset by the fact that they are happily throwing fuel onto the fire. When the fire burns down, they'll all be standing around slack-jawed in the smoldering ashes wondering what happened, then find some way to blame it on Boomers.

I’ll stay in Florida and push for us to secede/declare independence.

The absolute last thing you want to be in such a scenario is 'isolated.'

Exactly. ^ That's called American Exceptionalism!!! You get it!

Glad to see the left starting to recognize that we live in the greatest nation in the history of Mankind.

2nd place is so incredibly far back from us, it's not even close.

If we 'sink' the rest of the world is likely in total and complete chaos and in ruins.

If America as a concept sinks, the land I love, my home, my job, my family...all of that is still here.

Something will rise in its place. And maybe I can do something positive about that.

If America sinks, the rest of the world is in deep trouble.

The global powers that be will not allow that to happen until and unless something beyond their control (climate, depletion of natural resources) takes place.
