I always really enjoy seeing a rainbow flag in public. I probably see about one rainbow flag for every 20 or so billboards or bumper stickers telling me I'm going to hell.
I see rainbows I remember God’s promises. I understand they use it to show diversity, but in my world- it’s always been there. I know people from all over who are different.
Has nothing to do with equal rights for gays and lesbians - even trans - I'm just sick of it being pushed in my face and into the children's faces. I love rainbows - they're beautiful - but the LBGTQAII+++ has turned a once beautiful thing into a symbol of division.
I thought that the Rainbow Coalition started in '84.
Could be. During the BLM era's height we were told "all lives matter" was Racist and Black lives matter more.
No. You missed the point entirely. 'Black is beautiful' never meant that white is ugly. Free your mind.

40 years. Pride month -started 1999 Clinton on gay and Obama extended it to all LGBTQ+ community.
Problem started - 2022 judge Thomas “ court should reconsider gay marriage and birth control...”
he started the war again
Imagine a world were they have a rocking chair for Christian pride, Muslim pride, Jewish pride, heterosexual pride, English pride, Irish pride, German pride, Italian pride etc. Why only lgbt stuff? That’s the problem I have with the whole movement and the current worship of it. If we are going to celebrate lgbt should we not celebrate heterosexuality even more (that is how the human race continues btw).
As the saying goes, every day is straight PRIDE day. It's everywhere.
In all seriousness though, PRIDE is not about celebrating being gay, per se, it's about celebrating the struggle and achievements that gay people fought and won to get equal rights. These parades started out as protests.
Many of the groups you listed do have events, some major events that celebrate their religion or culture. Does Christmas ring a bell?
Super Happy Fun America did try and have a straight PRIDE. It was a massive failure. No one saw the point.
So your complaint shouldn't be against gay people, who have successful PRIDE events annually around the world, but to you guys. Why can't you get your act together and organize a successful straight PRIDE? It's not the gay community's job.
Oh, for Cracker Barrel? This ad is FULL of HETERO images being shoved in my face.
Why IS all of this suddenly taking place more frequently in the last few years?
It's not. But the knee-jerk conservative politicians keep calling it to the public's attention in their zeal to court right wing evangelical Christians.

How exactly does a symbol of inclusiveness divide people? Unless you don't want to be included, or don't want everyone to be included ... ?

Oh, good grief. Is this another conservative wet dream?

Perhaps we heterosexuals should take this advice. No more public displays of affection for anyone. No flirting, don't even smile at your partner. That celebrates your sexual preference right there. No window displays of bridal gowns - I mean, doesn't that celebrate a straight woman's sexual preference?
Good grief, do you people even listen to yourselves?

I haven't been to Cracker Barrell in years, but when I did, they always had Christian-themed items in their gift shop. I can't imagine that they don't anymore.

That used to be that way. The puritans. The Europeans used to laugh at us. No holding hands or kissing - Displays of affections—cold people.
What the **** are you talking about dip****? This is literally what Republicans are doing with all of their ranting and raving over pride symbols and banning books. There's no way you're this stupid.
And you want to censor speech in which you disagree. Sounds like freedom to me. You guys always resort to personal attacks. Classy.
