The biggest problem with Affirmative Action as a conversation is the belief that the black students were not qualified. That is a lie. Every single black person who benefited from Affirmative Action was qualified.
Qualified is irrelevant. 100% of students who graduate from high school are qualified. Saying a student is qualified is akin to saying a car has 4 wheels. It is assumed.
The issue is Universities using race as a deciding factor to ensure the student body isn't too Yellow.
The issue is the Equal Protections Clause of the 14th Amendment.
Liberals who wish to discriminate against Asians because of the color of their skin are free to launch an effort to repeal the 14th Amendment. I look forward to progressives launching such an effort.
Only 1% of black students who take the SAT score above 1400.
The percentage of blacks that score above 1500 is even less than that.
These are uncomfortable truths that pretty much nobody wants to talk about.
1. Not everyone takes the SAT, many only take the ACT
2. The number of black kids who get into elite colleges(Ivy, Southern Ivy, Midwest Ivy, West Coast Ivy) is indeed less than 1% of all black kids applying to college.

No they arent. Some colleges require foreign languages in high school, some require certain math credits, certain GPAs so on and so forth.

This shows me that you have no idea what you are talking about and have simply chosen a side and are making things up to fit your narrative
Ive noticed all the talk about "yellowing" of colleges, but nobody talks about the blatant cheating that occurs. Having spoken to more than a dozen Asian students, it can be deduced that cheating is "a must" when it comes to SAT scores. Now im not race bashing, but we can all agree that it is much easier for a kid in a upper class neighborhood to hack the SAT than it is for hood kids.
Unfortunately, Equality doesn't exist in the real world
Cheating to get into college is so well know that it pretty much exists in all High school senior movies and every person in real life has a story about it. We have plenty of news stories about rich kids who get caught cheating too. People playing naive to this is just weird.
