This is just too funny, and sad at the same time. Ludricous. Disgusting. Too bad Bush can't just dissolve the whole danged Congress like the dictatorships, replace them all with free-thinkers. Whatever. Hope no one has a myocardial infarction reading this, tee-hee!

"It may not be surprising, but it remains astonishing, that so many in Congress (and many within a complicit media) continue to say that Iraq is a lost venture. But more and more they are competing with al-Qaeda itself over claiming failure in Iraq. One would think we’d be inclined to cede the enemy his claims of responsibility for failure. But we don’t."

Occupying Iraq hasnt benefitted the American People. Saddam Hussein was not involved in 9/11 in any way, shape or form, Nor was Iraq involved in the war on terror and that nation posed no threat to the safety of Americans here or abroad, and the loss of 4,000+ troops and hundreds of billions of dollars cannot be justified or excused.

Was Al Qaeda ever the largest "resistance group" in Iraq? I'm not sure if the Iraqis turning on Al Qaeda (who weren't even there before the war started) necessarily counts as "us winning the war" as long as the Iraqis keep killing each other over their various divisions or killing us out of opposition to our presence, no matter what flag they "march under."
