A hospital/medical center using masking protocols for everyone who comes into their facilities at a time of increased respiratory infections? How dare they! Or, whatever.

Don't go to that hospital (or any hospital) if you don't want to comply with their infection mitigation policies. It's voluntary to go there; it's also voluntary to not go there. Stay home or go elsewhere.

Hospitals have required such masking during respiratory illness season since long before covid. They also typically get down to restrictions on kids visiting later as RSV digs in.

This comment is unhinged. Staying home from the hospital is not an option if you need to go to the hospital. That's why the topic of ridiculous hospital rules garners broad discussion interest.

But you've made your position clear from this comment as well as others. That position is: any objection to suggested or mandated masking or vaccines is intolerable to you, and so you will not entertain it in good faith.

It's an absolutist position ("hospitals, public health, etc. are always right"), poorly disguised as a "live and let live" position. It's kind of a joke, really.

NJ, where schools can change your kids gender, doctors can obliterate their genitals, but declawing your cat is prohibited, as it is deemed cruel and inhumane!

Makes you wonder the connections, as St B and Rutgers are all in on forced restrictions which defy science. At St B, doc and i drop the masks in the visit, we both know it is an over reaction and grossly ineffective. No more magazines in the waiting room.

Biden says he is reducing drug prices.... that is in the future, acts as if it has already happened. Pretends to be tough with BP! Made a bundle for big pharma forcing vaccines, crushing dissension and discussion. Now people being charged 130$ per dose. Biden and big pharma now playing good cop, bad cop. BP compensated for price drop with millions of mandatory doses of covid vaccine.

Now 8 million illegals from all over the world being dispersed by the feds and living in close quarters in big cities. This is a disease time bomb ready to explode in time for the 2024 election. Will biden force these people to get a covid vaccine? Imagine the profit to BP!!!!! Maybe just order a few million doses and let them expire or ruined in improper storage. Oh yeah, Biden is showing BP who is boss!

Largest health system in NJ masks up again

That should stop all communicable diseases from ever happening again!

I'm not much of mask wearer - I tend to be crowd avoider whenever possible. Where required by law or business mandate I will oblige.

Everything is voluntary when you consider "or you can die" to be a viable option.

What hospitals? I've been to the hospital a lot in my life and was never required to wear a mask before covid. Was even treated for cancer. Are you rewriting history?

I never put this pandemic in any type of political stance. Use common sense.
No one should be forced to wear a "mask" anywhere, no matter their age.

Stop perpetuating mental illness.
