Biden is going to Israel for one reason...someone told him to. He is going to use this as a photo-op to show how concerned he is, while at the same time figuring out how to sell out the US and Israel even more. Of course, it just amplifies by a major factor how much he has ignored here, where you have to look no farther than the Southern Border.
But he is not going anywhere near the fighting around Gaza.
When Presidents in the past visited US Troops in what were active war zones in the ME they didn't announce their plans in advance. In fact, we often didn't know about their visit until they were on their way back.
Of course, there is a darker thought. I am sure some Democrats are trying to figure out a way to get Biden out of the way in 2024. With all of these announcements and letting them know Biden is coming some may be hoping that he is "taken care of" in some sort of surprise attack. Not only would they get him out of the way, but probably pick up a lot of "sympathy points" in the process.
Besides the human tragedy aspect there is the voting power, wealth and influence of American Jews of all sorts. Biden and many other politicians simply just cannot risk being on wrong side of this moment.

Just asinine. What Israel should do, is tell all these politicians that are planning to visit for a political charade, to pound sand. There are more important things at hand.
Our President, Hochul, other politicians, and our military are racing to the aid of Israel while our own country is practically collapsing under the onslaught of "migrants" over our unprotected borders.
Now we know who is pulling their strings. For those that are worried, NOTHING will happen to Biden.
