I suppose it's possible that the driver just didn't see the Secret Service vehicle blocking the intersection - rainy night, black SUV, perhaps he even had a green light.
The “motorcade” could be on a side road with dozens of vehicles “blocking” the route with the actual distance a mile away and this is theatrics. Vehicles block the entire route and the distances can be far between “blocking vehicles” and actual motorcade. Implying this was a near miss is something for a slow news day. No injuries. Nothing burger. Now Biden will compare this to Charlottesville. Maybe donors will give more now.
Looks like to me it was 100 feet away not miles according to this video, but when did Biden compare it to Charlotteville? News Media have been making lot of comments not sure about Biden. Like I said before wet roads someone going to fast not expecting those cars blocking. City streets have oil built up on them I know how people drive in big cities. They sit in traffic all day when they get an open road, they haul ass. The SS didn't even pull the guy out of the car just talked to him. Biden sure looked stiff walking to the SUV almost looks like he had a stroke.
